Total there are more than 200 ccTLDs, all have a 2-letter code by ISO 3166
Specials:
* United Kingdom has two ccTLDs .uk + .gb
* Åland as autonome province of Finland has now an own ccTLD since March 2006: .ax
* Antarctica has the ccTLD: .aq althought it is no state
* Ascension has an own ccTLD .ac, althought it is not on the ISO-List, but belongs to St. Helena (.sh)
* The Palestinensian Autonome Region has .ps as own ccTLD, althought it belongs fomal to Israel
Changes:
* .cs was Czecheslovakia in history, then registered for Serbia and Montenegro, but never in use, because now Montenegro is independent and is now .ME while Serbia now is .RS (both not yet available)
* .zr for Zaire got deleted from Root Servers 2004 and has now .cd
Historicals:
* Former German Democratic Republic (DDR) had ccTLD .dd but never got it active
* Former Yugoslavia had ccTLD .yu which is still in use
* Former Sovjet Union (UdSSR) had .su which is still in use
* Easttimor is changing from .tp to .tl and using both for an interim period
